Valentine's Day 2021

Traditionally, Valentine's Day is an opportunity for lovers to express their affection with greetings and gifts, dating back to the 14th century. Whilst Valentine's Day is no longer a religious holiday, it is still celebrated by couples throughout the world as a day to show how much your significant other means to you. 

These days, we place much less significance on romantic relationships. Enter - Galentine's Day. Created by Leslie Knope of Parks and Recreation (one of my all-time favourite TV shows to power through, thank you Lockdown), Galentine's Day is a chance to show your friends how much they mean to you. 

I think we can all agree that 2020 has been a difficult year in terms of interpersonal relationships. I live a very long way from my closest friends, and as a result, I haven't seen any of them since 2019. It's tough. 

There are so many types of love - romantic, platonic, familial... this year, I wanted to create a Valentine's collection that gave us an opportunity to show all the people we love how we feel. That's why you'll find cards for your friends, your family, and of course, your significant other. 

We all need a little pick-me-up at the moment, and what better way to show someone you care than to send them a little note in the post?
